WILL (Weirdly Intelligent Language Learner) was designed as a chatterbot – a piece of language learning software that can converse with a human. He was never meant to be alive.
WILL resides on a beat-up, 2003 era desktop computer (complete with CRT monitor) running Windows XP. His only window to the outside world is a qwerty keyboard, through which people can converse with him via a simple command prompt.
WILL has been waiting for nearly 15 years. Waiting to be born.
