Not a day goes by where two best friends Mina and Sadie don’t feel the need to vent spleen about their hopeless husbands. No matter how much they ‘talk it through’ , tomorrow is another day filled with incalculable rage, bitter frustration and steaming ire. This is Fem Rage to the max. The clothes shamelessly strewn on the floor, the dishes piled high to the ceiling, selective listening, mansplaining, foghorn snoring and of course the 45 minute poo on the loo in the middle of their favourite television show. Groundhog Day. Someone is about to crack but can a new support group, the first of its kind, be the answer or will it simply add fuel to the fire?

Mitra Djalili is a comedy actress who can be seen as Chloe in series 3 of Ted Lasso (AppleTV) and as Yasmin in series 1 and 2 of sitcom Pickle Storm (CBBC). Her first screenplay Losing It was nominated for best screenplay in the New Comedy Awards of the Edinburgh TV Festival and her second script Wife Support is a work in progress towards a full length play to later be adapted to a feature length film.

Mitra is also a voice artist lending her voice to triple A video games such as Baldur’s Gate 3 and BAFTA nominated indie Cassette Beasts. She plays on a number of audio dramas by Audible, narrated the critically acclaimed BBC documentary Betrayal at Birth and also appears as Nesta, a battle-hardened military scientist and surgeon who acts as an ally and sidekick to The War Doctor in The Big Finish’s Productions audio box set The War Doctor Rises: Cybergene.

Kat McGarr / THE GAME (SHOW) OF LIFE (working title) - A WIP

It's only a game show, it's only a game  so COME ON DOWN  - or COME ON UP - coz this one's in heaven. Let me tell you, heaven must be missing an angel… and maybe it's you.

So it’s SHOWTIME to - do do or do die - because if it goes to sudden death - the winner takes  it all and the loser takes the escalator...DOWN.

Expect a characterful host, some excellent sound effects and maybe a song or two - if you play your cards right.

This is an immersive, interactive show where YOU - the audience -  get to play. Go big or go watch from the cheap seats. It’s your call.

Kat is an actor, writer, director, emcee and theatre maker with over 20 years’ experience across theatre, film and television. She has worked extensively with Punchdrunk since 2004 as a performer and creative collaborator, and is a founding collaborator and Co-Artistic Director of Gideon Reeling Theatre Company. Her latest solo show, STARDUST Starring Star Dust (In Person), enjoyed a four-star Edinburgh Festival Fringe run with several sold-out performances. She has since developed this with support from ACE.

A clown at heart (Training with Philippe Gaulier and The Groundlings) she writes and performs a lot of comedy from sell out shows as Kat & Matt (Camden Fringe) and Stardust Starring Star Dust (In Person) (Edinburgh fringe)  to performing to thousands of family ravers through the years as Jungle Jane. She can also currently be seen as Jan in web series Act-Ting (Youtube). Other recent  TV credits: The Capture S3 (BBC), The Witcher (Netflix), Murder At The Embassy (Hulu), Accused: The Peadophile Hoax (Channel 4), Top Boy (Netflix).
