Jenny Lockyer / Ballad of a Lost Cat (and other stories)

An original one-woman show featuring theatrical shenanigans and very funny songs!

Jenny’s been performing her original comic numbers and playing about with comedy for over 20 years. ‘Ballad of a Lost Cat and other stories’ is a warm and welcoming world of surreal character comedy and witty guitar-based numbers inspired by The Goons and the Ealing Comedies. Original ditties such as, 'You Make Me Steal Things', 'What Have They Done With the Children?' and the eponymous 'Lost Cat',  are interspersed with comic characters, in a mix of nostalgia and contemporary satire. Imagine Noël Coward on Facebook, Joyce Grenfell in Aldi or Katherine Hepburn on the school run…   This is a one-woman comedy musical revue with original songs, intrigue, and a little bit of opera!
